What it is all about.

Everyone’s Irish in Hendersonville during the March of the Leprechauns. The 2008 March of the Leprechauns Festival was a new event to Hendersonville that instantly become a family tradition. Our weekend had Celtic dancing, Celtic music, street-side vendors, and families perusing our streets and shops. Imagine our streets flooded with a parade of leprechauns!

The highlight of this first annual St. Patrick’s Weekend Celebration was the parade on Saturday, We invited everyone dressed like a leprechaun to participate in the parade. Parade participants, merchants, sponsors and even festival and parade goers, dressed in costume to match the Irish heritage and join in the parade. We shuffled in everyone dressed like a leprechaun into the parade.
We would love to see hundreds of Leprechauns dancing a jig throughout downtown. So remember on St. Patrick’s Day everyone is a wee bit Irish.

The parade, was a new addition to our downtown event calendar, and is open to any business, organization or individual. There is no charge for participating in the March of the Leprechauns Parade.

A sea of green decorations, a wave of leprechauns, and a line of St. Patty’s floats will fill our streets once again for an amazing second annual March of the Leprechauns.
